SECOND STREET
On October 13th, 2010, 2nd Street was reopened by Mayor Abramson and the decorative lighting under the bridge was turned on.

On behalf of Louisville Metro, and the Louisville Downtown Development Corporation Board, the Louisville Downtown Development Corporation managed the design and construction of the formerly dark, uninviting area. Now it serves as a gateway and gathering point for arena functions, events and daily activities.
