The LDDC Board also approved moving forward with an aggressive private-sector fundraising initiative to improve the development of Downtown.  Funds raised with this initiative will go to key Downtown development projects that bring about job growth for Louisville Metro.  For example, LDDC has begun working on the update to the Master Plan and has launched the new Downtown Commercial Loan Program.
